Yellow evokes such an upbeat and cheery vibe. You can transform a neutral white or grey space with the right accents, just a pop here and there, add or take away as the mood changes, and you have a bright 'sunny' kitchen.
This kitchen incorporates yellow with organic elements like flowers and fruit, functional pieces like the colander and through the pattern on the window blinds.

This room can seem a bit heavy because of the darker greys used in furnishings and the wood accents. But the hints of yellow still add a laidback vibe to the kitchen.

The yellow is zoned to the back-splash and light fixture with the white cabinets and furnishings offering a restful spot for the eyes.

As the above examples show, adding colour isn't restricted to the wall paint. Our mood board uses product colours in the plastic mini drawer and expandable wall hook (great for mugs) as well as the colour from the packaging and product in use. Can we say, 'Hello Yellow!'
