Purses, belts, hats, scarves and related accessories can be a perfect example of a small win - you pick and choose the specific categories to de-clutter and organise to make the task more manageable. Plus it may take as little as 15 minutes to get your closet accessories in order.
You may be a bit more flexible on keep decisions for accessories than you might be for clothing. For example, I have a small yellow handbag in excellent condition but which I use infrequently because of the colour. In this case, the practicality of the bag isn't a major reason to keep it but it's nice to mix in with other everyday pieces.
Before you begin, gather each category in one area and determine:
-how many of this type of accessory do you have?
-how many of this type of accessory do you use?
Use the below infograph for a step-by-step in the decision-making process.
When your sorting is complete, organise your closet accessories by colour or occasion.
